Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) invites applications from permanent resident of J&K state for the recruitment of Horticulture Development Officer. Through Notification no. 24-PSC of 2011 the particular recruitment drive began. There is availability of 10 vacancies of Horticulture Development Officers in J&K state and it will be filled through reserved category candidates. No. of Vacancies: – 10 (RBA-05, ST-03, SLC-01, PHC-01)


Limitation of Age: – Minimum 18 years; Maximum 37 years (age would be reckoned on 01.01.2011)
Age Relaxation: – Upper age would be relaxed upto 03 years for the reserved candidates of RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC; 02 years for PH Candidates, 11 years for Ex-servicemen and 08 years to working employee.
Essential Qualification: - Post Graduation Degree in Horticulture from govt. recognised university
In case of non availability of PG applicants; Bachelor Degree in Horticulture / Agriculture will be considered as eligible.
Scale of Pay: – Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
Process of Selection: – Written Test followed by Interview candidates will be opted
Exam Fee: – Rs. 200/- is required to deposit at counter of J&K Bank in campus of JKPSC as form of Exam Fee.
How to apply: – candidates eligible as well as interested may send their applications in prescribed format. The prescribed application form would be obtained after paying Rs. 50/- (excluding Rs. 10/- as processing charge) at the counter of J&K Bank in Campus of JKPSC.
It is required to fill application carefully and enclose attested copies of certificates in claim of Educational Qualification, Age Proof, Caste, Domicile and Experience (if any) with it. A recent passport size photo is required to paste on allotted space of application form.
